Manufacturing
Capabilities
ULTIMEDIA has invested in hard and soft
tooling to ensure that our manufacturing capabilities are broad
and comprehensive. From cutting, punching and shaping sheet metal
into enclosure and electronic packaging designs, ULTIMEDIA has the
right equipment to meet every customer's requirement.

Soft Tooling ULTIMEDIA
operates a full range of state-of-the-art CNC punching, laser cutting
and forming processes to create the most complex enclosures and metal
parts for your small to medium volume requirements. These processes
can accommodate all standard and custom designs.
Our laser processes are especially useful for designs of unusual shapes,
heavier material and require no tooling. Our facilities are currently
using a combination of CNC punching and laser equipment. This gives
ULTIMEDIA maximum flexibility and the ability to provide the product
at the lowest possible start-up cost.
Hard Tooling When programs
require high volume production, we have the ability to migrate them
to a hard tooling process. This includes stamping, blanking, progressive
dies and robotic die transfer lines.
ULTIMEDIA has the experience with all types of materials including
pre-plated and post-plated steel, stainless steel, aluminum and ULTIMEDIA
fabrication operations are organized in manufacturing cells. Dedicated
equipment and personnel are at the heart of the cellular manufacturing
process.
Machining Centers ULTIMEDIA has
invested in top of the line CNC milling and turning equipment. From
steel to stainless steel, from aluminum to plastic, ULTIMEDIA can
accommodate your material requirements.
Welding
Welding is critical to a structurally
sound enclosure product. Whether it is MIG, TIG or resistance welding,
the control of the process and the skill of our trained personnel
consistently produce high quality welds, whether the material is steel,
stainless or aluminum.
Paint
ULTIMEDIA facilities have both batch
booth and conveyor line capabilities that allow for the finishing
of a wide range of part sizes and quantities. The paint process is
set up to provide flexibility in color changes as well as rapid setup
and conversion from one product to another.
Powder paint or liquid paint, ULTIMEDIA can provide the appropriate
finish for your application. Both types of finishes are applied with
the highest environmental standards and processes possible. We also
offer silk screening for any required graphics.
Assembly
ULTIMEDIA’s capabilities cover
a full range of assembly and integration. We use "Levels of Integration"
from 0 to 5 to refer to the different degrees of assembly complexity.
At the lowest level of complexity, we can provide fabricated piece
parts (Level 0) or can assemble piece parts to form an enclosure (Level
1). Higher levels of assembly are more Electromechanical.
